The architect took the Malay term “Green” meaning “green” as their design directive. Their goal in developing this tropical greenhouse is to avoid as much as possible to cut trees, Because the house notches its way around the existing greenery, especially the two majestic 50 year old mango trees along the side boundary. The ground floor of the tropical greenhouse is all glass, and can be opened up to all the tropical vegetation adapted to the tropical climate of Malaysia. To get around sufficient limited area, this residential minimize the use of a separator. The existence of voids of the second floor in the family room and glass openings are wide in the direction toward the garden or swimming pool add to the feeling of space occupancy.
